The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Central Lincoln Ford Institute Leadership Program disc golf course project was held on December 5. This event marked completion of the Wilder Disc Golf Course, the only 18-hole disc golf course on the Oregon Coast between Coos Bay and Astoria. Creation of the disc golf course was chosen from a wide field of potential projects as part of the Ford Institute Leadership Program. Class participants, volunteers, sponsors, and partnerships all made this project possible. Click here to read more in the Newport News Times.
