Economic Development Consultant, Association of Oregon Counties
Doris Penwell is currently a lobbyist at the State Legislature representing the Association of Oregon Counties and Community Renewable Energy Association concerning renewable energy and economic development policy issues. She has worked for the State and local governments in Oregon's economic development field for 25 years. She has been a member of the RDI Board since 2000. A longtime Oregonian, she came to Oregon in 1967 and worked for Governor Tom McCall before her career with the legislature, state agencies, and local governments. Now she is focusing on emerging renewable energy issues that positively impact rural Oregon's future.
