When I joined RDI in 1998 I co-owned a small business and was simply looking for a part-time job to supplement my family’s income. I could never have anticipated that my background would so passionately align me with RDI’s mission, nor that I would make building leadership and encouraging prosperity in rural communities my career. A lot has changed since 1998. Over the past 13 years, I have worked my way through over 60 communities and eight different positions here at RDI – and have grown and loved my job during almost every minute of it. My current service at RDI is as the Director of Operations where I have the privilege of working with one of Oregon’s best collection of employees and volunteers to ensure that RDI’s services are effectively meeting the needs of and impacting the rural communities that we serve. I try to always say yes to a cup of coffee (sometimes decaf), an email exchange, or a phone call with the great people and partners that I am honored to work with through RDI, so feel free to contact me.
