Maui Meyer is a recent arrival to rural Oregon and its way of life. Returning from college in Hawaii in 1991, he stumbled upon the beautiful Hood River Valley and said “no further,” committing his life and skills to the development of small business and community in Hood River. An avowed serial entrepreneur, Meyer helps run three successful companies based upon proven rural/sustainable models: Find a good size, make a living and not a killing, do good work, build relationships, and honor your community.
