Danae Valdez is presently Branch Manager and Lending Officer for Columbia Bank in Othello, WA. Danae has been in the banking industry and creating relationships in this community for 14 years.

She has sat in a chair or committee position for various organizations in Othello for over a decade, including past treasurer for the Othello Chamber of Commerce and past member of Relay for Life committee representing Othello. She is presently the Treasurer/ executive board member for the Othello Food Bank, a member of the Independent Salary Commission for the City of Othello, a member of the planning committee for Othello Career Showcase with Adams County Development Council, a member of the Capital Project Planning Committee for the Othello School District ,and also volunteers for smaller organizations of the community and their event planning.

She was born and raised in Othello and is passionate about this thriving rural community. She would like to continue to add value and provide resources to individuals in rural communities- youth through adulthood – developing and encouraging growth.

In her free time, Danae follows/travels with her three kids whom are active in the sports community as they play Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Basketball, and Football.
