Mallorie Roberts

Mallorie Roberts is the Legislative Affairs Director at the Association of Oregon Counties (AOC). Mallorie leads a team of lobbyists that advocate on behalf of all 36 counties at the state and federal levels. AOC focuses on the issues that unite counties related to economic and community development, health and human services, public safety, natural resources, transportation and infrastructure, housing, and veterans.

Prior to joining AOC Mallorie worked for members of the Oregon and Wisconsin State Legislatures, held positions on various political campaigns in Oregon and Wisconsin, interned on Capitol Hill for a former US Representative and Chair of House Committee on Appropriations, and was legal counsel/vice president of operations for a small business. She currently serves on the board of the Oregon Economic Development Association and hopes to elevate the work of RDI through her diverse statewide network of policy professionals and community leaders.

Mallorie grew up in a small town on the south shore of Lake Superior and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University in central Minnesota. She moved to Oregon from Wisconsin in 2010 to attend Lewis & Clark Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. She now lives in Albany, Oregon with her husband and blue heeler, Arlo, and enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time in Oregon’s great outdoors in her spare time.
